Until 2001, Chambers was an annexe of 2 King’s Bench Walk, Temple; its origins as an annexe go back to 1972.  Strong links are retained with 2 King’s Bench Walk but Chambers independent development continues.

Chambers, based in Plymouth, Devon,  currently has 22 members and at any particular time there will be at least one pupil barrister.  There are 7 door tenants, including 4 silks.  Chambers offers high quality litigation, advisory and advocacy services in civil, criminal and family law. As a set we are known to be approachable and friendly and keen to provide the best advice and representation.

We have recently made significant investment into our building to ensure that client facilities are outstanding.  Those facilities include: multiple conference rooms; video conferencing; Wi-Fi and ample car parking. We can also offer our professional clients access to our extensive library upon prior arrangement.

We have a full clerking and administrative team that provide the highest levels of client care.

Chambers offers the following services in all areas of work:


Advocacy: At all levels from Family Proceedings Court, County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and all Tribunals
   
Conferences: In Chambers at Court or at Instructing Solicitors’ offices. Chambers is pleased to offer all clients with newly refurbished and dedicated conference facilities with flat screen televisions with DVD
   
I.T: Chambers has video conferencing facilities, internet access and facilities are available for Wi-Fi use
   
Written Work: Chambers practice is to return papers within 14 days although written work can be provided as a matter of urgency subject to members’ availability
   
Telephone Advice: Can be provided by members of all groups at short notice
   
Other services: By prior arrangement, our clerks can arrange for local collection and delivery of papers. Chambers has an impressive library and welcomes its professional clients to use its facilities upon prior arrangement.
   
Training: King’s Bench Chambers is accredited with The Law Society and The Bar Council and all groups regularly provide ‘in house’ seminars on all aspects of the law within our specialist areas of practice.
