In the field of care work Rawdon has been involved in two of the principal cases on leave to remove a child from the jurisdiction where a foreign adoption is being contemplated: Plymouth CC v CR and others (unreported but cited in London Borough of Haringey v. MA and others [2008] EWHC 1722 (Fam)) and Re G [2008] EWCA Civ 105, (2008) 1 FLR 1484, (2008) 1 FLR 1497, [2008] 3 WLR 853.
