Castlematter v Carrick DC 2008 (planning permission quashed by judicial review because it had been granted without going through the screening process)
Friends of the Camel Valley v SoS for the Environment and North Cornwall DC 1998 (Inspector’s decision to permit re-introduction of railway quashed by judicial review)
Pye v SoS for the Environment and North Cornwall DC 1998 3 PLR 72 (Successful application under the 1973 Act held to be a wholly new planning permission.)
Betteson v Langton (approved in House of Lords 2002 AC 27) established right to sell rights of pasture independently from the farms to which they were annexed.
Rundle v Royal Bristol Hospital 2001 (medical negligence which with other cases led to the Bristol Heart Surgeons Inquiry)
Re M 2001 2 FLR 236(Using section 7 of the Human Rights Act to obtain an order quashing a local authority decision without proceeding via judicial review)
R v Cornwall County Council ex parte LH 2000 1 FLR 236 (Establishing by judicial review parents’ right to be legally represented at child protection conferences)
